NewsChannel 21 Sports Director
After living in Wisconsin for the first 26 years of my life, I made the trek to the High Desert in July of 2012, joining the NewsChannel 21 team as sports director.
A native Wisconsinite, I grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin, about 30 minutes south of Green Bay. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a B.S. in Radio/TV/Film in 2008 and was involved in the student TV and radio station all four years.
My first TV job was in Wausau, Wisconsin at WSAW-TV, where I started in January of 2009 as an assistant producer of the morning show. I transitioned into part-time news and sports before finally moving to a full-time sports reporter/anchor.
Coming from Wisconsin, I grew up a huge Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. I actually did not grow up a Green Bay Packers fan, and am slowly becoming a Seattle Seahawks fan, thanks in large part to former Badger QB Russell Wilson.
This is my first time living outside of the Badger State, and I have enjoyed everything Oregon has to offer so far, especially the gorgeous views.
Covering high school and college sports is one of my favorite parts of the job.
