BEND, Ore. -

Valentine’s Day, February 14th, is Dutch Luv Day, when Central Oregon Dutch Brothers Coffee locations will be offering free 16 oz. drinks in exchange for three canned food items to help NeighborImpact fight hunger.

The special runs one day only, Thursday from 5 am to 10 pm and will be happening at eight Dutch Brothers locations in Bend, Redmond and Sisters. Available drinks include all 16 oz. specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, freezes and flavor-infused private label energy drinks.

“We look forward to Dutch Luv each year and appreciate what the great people at Central Oregon’s Dutch Brothers do for the local community,” says Sandy Klein, food resource specialist for the NeighborImpact Food Bank.

The annual Dutch Luv Day effort extends company-wide, taking place this year at all 195 locations in 94 cities in seven states. To find the Dutch Brothers Coffee location nearest you and hours of operation, visit www.dutchbros.com/locations.

In 2012, Dutch Luv Day raised over 100,000 pounds of canned food. In Central Oregon, our amazing community raised 3,145 pounds last year for our friends and neighbors in need. Dutch Brothers Coffee donates over $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes, in an effort to achieve its goal of “making a difference, one cup at a time.”
