Two people were arrested Thursday by Rogue Area Drug Enforcement Team detectives in a raid on a home in Wolf Creek in Josephine County where they seized more than 15 firearms, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and other evidence, Oregon State Police said Saturday.
According to OSP Sgt. Jim Johnson, RADE detectives served the search warrant in the 3600 block of Leland Road in Wolf Creek and arrested Sky Anthony Shipman, 34, and Kayla Marie Donnersbach, 22.
Detectives seized about four ounces of heroin, a half-ounce of methamphetamine, 15 pounds of marijuana, a handgun and rifle both with silencer-type attachments, 14 other handguns and long-barrel firearms, and other evidence.
During the investigation at the home, two traffic stops were conducted that led to the total seizure of two pounds of marijuana, small amounts of heroin and methamphetamine, a handgun and other evidence. No arrests were made associated with the traffic stops, as those investigations are continuing.
Shipman and Donnersbach were both lodged in the Josephine County Jail on the following charges:
* Unlawful Manufacture, Possession, and Distribution of Controlled Substance - Heroin
* Unlawful Manufacture, Possession, and Distribution of Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine
* Unlawful Manufacture, Possession, and Distribution of Controlled Substance - Marijuana
* Possession of a Silencer (2 counts)
RADE was assisted by the OSP Drug Enforcement Section HIT team, OSP Criminal Investigation Division, OSP and Josephine County Probation drug detection canines, and OSP troopers from Grants Pass and Klamath Falls offices.
