Bend seeks accessibility panel members

BEND, Ore. -

The City of Bend is seeking applicants for several positions on the City of Bend Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Committee members are appointed by the City Manager for two year terms to assist and advise the City on the most appropriate means to make programs, services, activities and facilities accessible to Bend’s citizens. The following positions are open:

-- One individual with disabilities actively engaged in enhancing accessibility in the
city
-- One local business representative
-- One citizen at large
-- One professional from building, engineering, design and/or architectural industry

Applicants must be residents of the city of Bend. Applications will be accepted
until 5 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013.
