Crime Stoppers: Bend park vehicle, gear stolen

Deschutes County sheriff's deputies are looking for whoever stole $20,000 worth of equipment from a Pine Nursery Park storage facility.

BEND, Ore. -

Deschutes County sheriff's deputies need your help finding a thief who got away with $20,000 in park equipment.

They say someone stole a 2006 John Deer Gator utility vehicle, plus trimmers, blowers and edgers made by Stihl, from a Bend Park and Recreation storage facility in Bend's Pine Nursery Park.

The crime occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, Aug. 12th, they said.
