A Pennsylvania man is facing prison time for stealing lobsters to support his drug habit.

Charles Shumanis III, 47, pleaded guilty in September to stealing lobsters and meat from Allentown-area supermarkets, The Associated Press reported.

He also entered a guilty plea to a botched March 1 theft that included a car-jacking in a parking lot.

Other charges were dropped as part of a plea deal, the South Whitehall Patch reported.

A Lehigh County judge on Monday recommended Shumanis serve up to 25 years in state prison to help him deal with his drug and alcohol problems, according to the AP.
